# Meet Molly! — Albuquerque, New Mexico

**One-year-old Molly is a beautiful, affectionate Airedale Terrier looking for a loving home with someone who appreciates the energy, enthusiasm, and occasional mischief of a young Dale!**

Molly is currently being fostered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she has shown herself to be a friendly, people-loving girl who enjoys attention and gets along well with other dogs.

She's already off to a great start with her training! Molly is housetrained, crate trained, comes when called, and generally does well walking on a leash.

Like many young Airedales, however, Molly still has some growing up to do. When excited, she may jump up on people or engage in playful mouthing. Her foster mom emphasizes that these behaviors are not aggressive, but Molly will need an adopter committed to attending training classes, providing consistent guidance, and helping her develop good manners.

**Molly does well with other dogs, but she is NOT suitable for a home with cats.** She shows far too much interest in the cats in her foster home and must be kept completely separate from them.

Molly is an active, intelligent young dog who will thrive with regular exercise, mental stimulation, patient training, and plenty of affection. She has so much potential and is well worth the time and effort needed to help her become a wonderful companion.

**Molly's details:**

- Approximately 1 year old
- Weighs about 60 pounds
- Spayed and microchipped
- Up to date on vaccinations
- Heartworm and Valley Fever negative
- Housetrained and crate trained
- Good with other dogs
- **No cats**
- Fostered in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Molly's foster mom describes her as *"a very nice young Dale looking for the right home to thrive in."*

If you have the time, patience, and sense of humor to guide a young Airedale through her adolescent years, Molly might be just the girl for you!

**An approved adoption application is required.**

Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue

🐾 COURTESY POST — Meet Oliver! 🐾
Please note: Oliver is NOT a Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue (SWAT) dog. SWAT has not evaluated him and is not involved in his placement. We are simply networking him to help this very cute terrier find his family.
And, well… we can certainly see why someone thought there might be a little Airedale in that face! ❤️
Oliver is a young male — less than a year old — currently with Central Arizona Animal Rescue in San Tan Valley, Arizona. He was originally picked up as a stray in Yuma and is now looking for a permanent home.
According to his rescue, Oliver is:
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Current on vaccinations
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Good with other dogs
🐾 Young, enthusiastic and full of personality
If you already have a dog, Central Arizona Animal Rescue requires you to bring your dog for an introduction before adopting.
We don't know whether Oliver actually has any Airedale in his family tree, but he's certainly a handsome, scruffy terrier boy — and we thought our Airedale friends might help get his face in front of the right person.
All questions and adoption inquiries should go directly to Central Arizona Animal Rescue. SWAT does not have additional information about Oliver.
Please share and help Oliver find his home! ❤️🐾

Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue

When an Airedale needs us, we want to be able to say “yes.”

Ziggy came to Southwest Airedale Rescue — New Mexico after being surrendered to an Albuquerque shelter. His coat was severely matted, and a large, heavy tumor was growing on his hip.

Since then, Ziggy has had surgery to remove two tumors and has bounced back beautifully. But his journey isn’t over. He remains in foster care while we manage severe, persistent skin allergies that may require specialized veterinary treatment for the rest of his life.

Ziggy isn’t the only one. Raven needed a second chance. Kirby needed veterinary care and a brighter future. When these Airedales needed help, our New Mexico volunteers were there.

But we can only keep saying “yes” with help from people who love Airedales too.

You don’t have to make a large donation. $5, $10 or $25 matters. When many Airedale lovers give what they comfortably can, those gifts add up to veterinary care, medications, food and the other things our rescued dogs need.

And to those who already support SWAT with a monthly donation: thank you. Those dependable gifts help us care for the dogs already with us and be ready for the next one.

If you can help today, please do. Every dollar helps us say “yes” to the next Airedale who needs us.

Not able to donate right now? You can still help. Share this post. Tell us about your Airedale. Ask about adoption. Consider fostering or volunteering. There are many ways to be part of Rescue.

When a tiny Welsh Terrier meets 80+ pounds of Airedale… you get the perfect pair of brothers. ❤️

Clyde and Cooper are both complete gentlemen, and Cooper—recently placed by Airedale Rescue with one of our waiting applicants—looks very much at home with his new little brother.

Little brother. BIG brother. Best brothers.

Welcome home, Cooper! ... See MoreSee Less
