Phoenix Area – Foster or Adopt: Sweet 9-Year-Old Airedale Needs a Quiet, Loving Home

We recently took in a 9-year-old Airedale Terrier after his owner passed away, and he is now safe in foster care. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who clearly loves people and is settling in nicely with a routine.

About him:
• 9 years old, 53 lbs., neutered, and up to date on vaccinations
• Crate trained and comfortable in a home
• Sweet, loyal, and enjoys being with his people
• A wonderful companion for someone looking for a calmer, mature dog

What he needs to thrive:
We’ve learned he does best as the only dog in the home, as he can be protective around food with other dogs. Because of this, we’re looking for:
• A no other pets home (including visiting dogs)
• A quiet household, ideally with adults or older, dog-savvy teens

In the right setting, he is a loving, easy companion who just wants to feel safe and part of a home again.

We are hoping to find a Phoenix-area foster or adopter so he can continue to avoid boarding and keep progressing in a stable environment.
