One-year-old Molly is a beautiful, affectionate Airedale Terrier looking for a loving home with someone who appreciates the energy, enthusiasm, and occasional mischief of a young Dale!
Molly is currently being fostered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she has shown herself to be a friendly, people-loving girl who enjoys attention and gets along well with other dogs.
She’s already off to a great start with her training! Molly is housetrained, crate trained, comes when called, and generally does well walking on a leash.
Like many young Airedales, however, Molly still has some growing up to do. When excited, she may jump up on people or engage in playful mouthing. Her foster mom emphasizes that these behaviors are not aggressive, but Molly will need an adopter committed to attending training classes, providing consistent guidance, and helping her develop good manners.
Molly does well with other dogs, but she is NOT suitable for a home with cats. She shows far too much interest in the cats in her foster home and must be kept completely separate from them.
Molly is an active, intelligent young dog who will thrive with regular exercise, mental stimulation, patient training, and plenty of affection. She has so much potential and is well worth the time and effort needed to help her become a wonderful companion.
